  • Volleyball England Level 3
    Coach 4
    This is Volleyball England’s top level coaching course. This course is a must for all coaches who are coaching competitive teams and want more technical and tactical understanding into the modern 6 v 6 top level game.
    You will already have your Level 2 coaching qualification and will be looking to take your next step on the coaching ladder.
    Course Structure
    This is a four day course split over two weekends comprising 32 hours of practical and theoretical sessions. There is a written theory examination at the end of the course.
    In addition to this, you will also need to complete a practical assessment, which is an observer 2 hour training session with your team.
    The course will be delivered by the best tutors England has to offer, including a number of guest speakers/deliverers. We are running the course in conjunction with the Super 8 matches, therefore you will not miss out on much of the action.
    What resource will I receive?
    All candidates will receive a high quality resource file containing guidance on all content covered on the course. A Volleyball Level 3 certificate is awarded after successful completion of the course
    What will I learn?
    You will be:
    Able to plan and deliver a series of coaching sessions based on goal setting and evaluation. This is aimed at improving the performance of individual players and a team over a period of time
    Encouraged to consider your coaching philosophy, individual differences and how that impacts on your work with players
    Challenged to think about how you put together their teams to maximise players strengths and provide balance
    Introduced to a range of offensive and defensive systems of play and their tactical application
    Asked to examine how they plan, deliver and evaluate player improvement through effective practices
    Able to apply the principles of match analysis, scouting and match coaching
    Made aware of the principle of sport physiology, coaching processes and planning.
